Since the opening in 1990, La Maison de la Francophonie de Vancouver has served as a gathering place for Francophones and Francophiles in the Greater Vancouver area.
This makes it a unique place to meet, exchange and experiment:
- A hosting place for the Francophone organizations that meet the cultural, educational, social and economic needs of the Francophone community;
- A place of expression and development for Francophones;
- A place where Francophiles can learn and experiment in Vancouver.
As a community centre, La Maison houses a number of Francophone associations offering a range of services and activities in French.
In addition to the services and activities offered by the associations, the multipurpose hall Studio 16 is available for theatrical and artistic performances, concerts, conferences, meetings, socials and community activities.
